Freddie Prinze, Jr. Blogs On Michelle
Am I sensing a theme?Am I trippin'? Or are our wrestlers getting more time to, you know, wrestle?
Michelle vs Layla seemed longer than normal. This is a GOOD thing. Normally, Michelle would get beat on, come back, and win. Tonight, she took some, came back, took more, put Layla on her back and instead of 123, Layla kicks out! (i was like what? my imaginary friend was like, yeah bro, they're wrestling) Now lets forget that Michelle wins with a quick tap by Layla. GOD BLESS MICHELLE for adapting MMA into her game. I know people will argue with me, but i really see a BIG TIME place for this in WWE. (getting distracted by finishers) After last week's BIG TIME match between Punk and MVP and this week's matches going long as well ... Koslov VS Noble. (watching Kane MVP right now, have to stop typing)
My opinion is you give your stars a shot at maintaining a longer match, one with a story. you learn VERY QUICKLY who can handle it and who can not. Michelle has the goods, has the submission finisher (great when really extended), and has the endurance, RING endurance, for a nice showdown with Natalya (who looked crazy hot tonight)
So nice work Ms Mc Cool, nice work. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Smackdown! Results
After having her fans settle without an appearance last week, Michelle was back, and with a point to prove: she wants gold, and she'll stop at nothing to get it! Michelle squared off within the ring against ECW's Layla, as the two beauties put on a match which would later determine who shall advance into the next round. The round for a Diva's Championship opportunity against Natalya. Michelle often found herself ahead of Layla, pulling out a new move set, along with those her fans have come to recognize and appreciate. While Michelle and Layla proved to put on a great bout, once again, with an Ace up her sleeve, Michelle was victorious. Placing Layla in her heel lock, and further forcing the extreme beauty, Michelle will advance -- much to the dismay of Natalya, who watched from a top the stage. Could the future hold a match between Natalya and McCool, and furthermore, who shall prove her worth as SmackDown's first Diva's Champion?

1''The smile that lights the face will also warm the heart!"
Well, after being on the road for 14 days now, eight being overseas and on a plane for a total (roughly) of 46 hours from the time I left my house until the time I got back tonight, I finally made it home around 9:00 this evening. To say I'm tired is an understatement. However, it's 4:28a.m. (yes, a.m.) and I can't go to sleep. I'm having a case where my internal clock is telling me its 4:00 on Thursday afternoon in Australia. Whoa ... help! I hope this doesn't last the rest of the week while I'm home because I am sleepy!!! Guess I can look on the bright side ... I’ve already got a couple of loads of laundry complete!
1. The Australian tour ... The land Down Under treated us really, really well. It's absolutely beautiful over there. (I think I'm convinced that I could live there.) As I'm sure you know, we did seven shows, seven days in seven different cities. It was a whirlwind, but the shows were AWESOME!!! I had two single matches with Victoria, two single matches with her BFF Natalya and three tag matches (my partner being Kelly Kelly) against the two of them. I am completely bruised and beaten, but put up one heck of a fight every time I stepped into the ring. Those are two "Divas" that I will never get tired of facing!
The fans were crazy! Every show was packed! There is no greater feeling than the adrenaline rush you get, the excitement you feel and the chill bumps you get as soon as your music hits. I don't even know what to say about it. It's a feeling like none other!
To the fans Down Under: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You cheered for us, you laughed, you booed, you cried and we appreciated every minute of it. Until next time...
2. The Draft ... I've been getting TONS of e-mails asking if I'm changing brands. The answer is simple. I have absolutely no earthly idea! Anyone is game to be traded. I guess I'll find out as soon as you guys do from San Antonio on Monday night. I'm pretty much indifferent now. My dream, my goal is to have the gold around my waist and now that's possible on both Raw and SmackDown. I do feel like I have some unfinished business with a few Divas in particular on Raw (but who's to say they don't get traded to SD), yet General Manager Vickie Guerrero has now created a Divas Championship on SD that I would LOVE to get my hands on ... creating history at the same time. Not much longer for us all to wait ... only four more days, but who's counting, right?!
3. Accomplishment ... "If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done. Be sure to stay busy and plant a variety of crops, for you never know which will grow, perhaps they all will."
I think it's really easy to get discouraged at times and to give up. A lot of you have told me that it's just too hard to reach your goals, every time you feel like you are going somewhere; something happens that holds you back or causes you to quit. Three words ... THIS IS NORMAL!
We all go through periods, yes even us "Superstars," where we feel like all our hard work is going nowhere, where we feel like we have given all we can possibly give, where we want something so bad that it's frustrating when we can't quite get our hands on it, when we try something or give ideas only to have them shot down, where we just feel like giving up. Don't give up (and believe me I've had to look in a mirror and tell myself the same thing on occasion)!!!! That's why I love the above quote. Nothing ... not the place, not the time, not the people and not the conditions will EVER be perfect. That's when you have to not get lazy and give up. That's when you have to dig even deeper and work even harder to get whatever it is you want. I promise, your perseverance will pay off ... you might just have to have patience to see it happen. It will happen when the timing is right. Don't give up! No dream is ever too big!
It's 5:06 a.m. now, and I'm going to try to go to sleep again! Hope all is well with each of you. Remember faith to fight the good fight, heart to believe and soul to search within - it will get you wherever you want to go. Dream big!
Lovin' Life,
Michelle

Divas Just Wanna Have Fun!
Perhaps Victoria had decided to stop by during Michelle's "Coach McCool" photoshoot she had for SmackDown! magazine in 2005, alongside Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson. While the girls prove to give each other a beating from time to time, it's nice to see them getting along and playing it up for the camera. Wouldn't you agree?
